Description
LUG BUTTERFLY VALVE WITH WRAS SEAT FOR POTABLE WATER – KTN 276IE
The KTN 276IE is our butterfly valve with lug connection and epdm seat. The range extends from DN 50 to DN 350, replacing the sleeve by a reducing handwheel from DN 250, suitable for conveying almost any medium, in particular and on special request our butterfly valve can convey drinking water for human consumption and with WRAS certification. Its pressure range: PN10/16. The working temperature range is from -20ºC to +120ºC.

Resilient seat design
The seat design reduces seat torque and, at the same time, reduces wear on the contacting parts. Curvatures in the machining of the inner seat area minimize the contact forces between the disc and seat when the disc approaches or opens from the closed position. This unique seat geometry allows for lower torques and reduces seat wear.
Disc spring
A heavy-duty seat energizer extends completely around the seat, including the disc hub. This provides sufficient uniform force for a bubble-tight

Upper/lower packing
The valve has upper and lower packing composed of FRP plastic fiber for symmetrical sealing, the upper packing is reinforced by a ring to absorb the torsion of the handle or actuator.
One-piece stem
The stem is made in one piece and is mechanically retained in the body neck and no part of the stem is exposed to the fluid.
One piece lug structure
The body is one-piece wafer style and epoxy coated. All bodies meet full ASME Class 150 and DIN 3840 pressure ratings for hydrostatic requirements.
