Description
BUTTERFLY VALVE 2 OFFSET SEAT EASY TO REPLACE SEAT – TTV HYDOR
TTV Colossus valve with double eccentric and wafer type. It is a valve that combines the good tightness of the ball and gate valve and the low cost and lightness of the butterfly valve.
The double displacement of the valve shaft provides an eccentric rotation of the disc on the seat. This circular rotational movement of the elliptical nature of the disc ensures that the disc is only a few degrees in contact with the seat before the valve closes completely.
Thanks to this feature, the valve has a longer service life because the friction between seat and disc is minimal. In the closed valve position, the force of the disc on the seat ensures complete sealing regardless of pressure. The valve also features a self-sealing mechanism that ensures tight shut-off and low torque.
The seat and other internal components can be easily replaced on site. Colossus valves can be wafer, lug or double flanged. Three seat configurations are available: 100% PTFE/R-PTFE, Metal INCONEL or Firesafe:R-PTFE/AISI316.
Size range from DN32 to DN600. DIN flanges – PN10/16/25 or ANSI150Lbs/300Lbs. Construction designs according to API609, ASME B16.34, MSS SP-67, EN593 and NACE MR0175 standards.
