Principle of operation
FLOW DETECTION IN BOTH DIRECTIONS – TECFLUID AD
A spring M maintains a gauged disk B at rest. When a fluid circulates at a certain speed, it exerts a force on the volumetric disk B, causing it to move to a point of equilibrium. The space traveled by B depends on: – The force originated by the flow F. – The relation of areas of passage of A and B. – The opposing force of the spring C. The equilibrium between the forces F and the one generated by C defines the position point of the volumetric disc B, equivalent to the circulating flow. The volumetric disk B, which contains a magnet M inside, acts on the automatisms and / or the local indicator.
