Principle of operation
FLOW METER ROBUST FOR LIQUIDS OR GASES – TECFLUID DP
A shock disk flowmeter is based on the indirect measurement of the force exerted on a suspended disk in the path where a fluid circulates at a certain speed . The disc is supported by an axis perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, so the force applied by it affects the rotation of said axis . In turn, a spring attached to the shaft opposes its rotation. The force applied on the spring is equal to the force exerted by the fluid , obtaining a balance point of the angle of rotation of the disk that is equivalent to a flow rate. P >
