Description

PURE PTFE SAFETY GUARD – KTN 13 / PTFE7

  • Transparent PTFE and PVC sight glass: allows visual observation of liquid and gas flow in piping systems. PTFE provides excellent chemical resistance and a wide operating temperature range, ideal for demanding applications. PVC offers good transparency and mechanical strength, suitable for less aggressive environments.
  • Ends in pure PTFE fabric: Teflon-coated fabric resistant to heat, corrosion, and chemicals, durable and non-stick.
  • Operating temperature range: -35ºC to +230ºC. PTFE ensures chemical stability and durability under extreme thermal conditions.
  • PTFE ropes: chemically inert and highly resistant to extreme temperatures. Low-friction, used in chemical, food, and medical industries as well as for sealing in industrial equipment.
  • Braided high-resistance synthetic fiber body: made of synthetic filaments offering excellent tensile strength and durability for demanding applications.
  • Resistance to acids, alkalis, and UV rays: pure PTFE safety shields ensure durability and protection in aggressive industrial environments, minimizing chemical and environmental degradation.

  • The splash-proof sightglass is composed of one PTFE film and one PVC film.
  • The splash guard at both ends is made of pure PTFE fabric.
  • Body made of braided high-strength synthetic fiber.
  • Connection by a durable PTFE cord.
  • An optional leak warning strip can be added.
  • Operating temperature range: -35ºC to +230ºC.
  • Strong resistance to acids and alkaline media, high temperatures, UV rays, and abrasion.
