Multi-turn actuator for gate valves:

The TIGRON is a multiturn actuator with a classic mission:
Automation of gate valves with or without rising stem.

The rising stems pass through the bore of the multi-turn actuator. The stem protection tube protects the stem from contamination and people from injury.

TIGRON actuator versions are available for both types of service.
In combination with GK or GST multi-turn gearboxes with torques up to 16,000 Nm.

Controls mounted separately:

The TIGRON controls can be removed from the actuator in its own housing and be installed in a perfectly position accessible location. The connection to the actuator is made by means of a cable set, supplied by AUMA, to cover the required distance.

Where to separate the controls?
In hazardous areas, areas with difficult access, high temperatures or high vibration.

Combinations for ball, butterfly and globe valves:

The six ranges of gearboxes available from AUMA are ideal for completing and enhancing the functions of TIGRON.

The application range covers even other valve designs including numerous butterfly valves or the conventional ball valves of the oil and gas industry that require a 90 degree partial turn.

In these cases TIGRON is combined with AUMA part-turn.

AUMA’s linear thrust units convert TIGRON’s multi-turn into a thrust movement that is thrust movement required for the automation of globe valves.

Flexible and rugged:

Our TIGRON operates reliably both on platforms in tropical seas and in icy Alaskan pipelines. TIGRON is accustomed to working in high temperatures, low temperatures, corrosive and harsh atmospheres.

Simple operation:

TIGRON is configured locally via the display and Combi-Switch, no additional configuration tools are required. Unauthorized operation and configuration changes are prevented by password protection

The display scheme has five indicator lights. The behavior of the LEDs can be adapted to the user’s specifications. In addition, the device status is clearly visible even from a greater distance.

Power failure:

The internal rechargeable TIGRON internal power buffer takes over the internal electronic power supply. The stored current is sufficient for power outages lasting months.
