Description
SANITARY VALVE WITH DOUBLE DOSING SYSTEM – CO.RA. DOUBLE VALVE GASKET
The CO.RA. DOUBLE VALVE GASKET was conceived to satisfy both control and dosage as well as the packaging of powders and granules loose during the filling processes .
It consists of a butterfly with central rotor and is normally located in the lower process outlets of the machine, such as refrigerators or containers. This valve was designed to interface with an automatic and programmable weighing system.
How does the valve work?
1. Heavy dosage:
The butterfly opens and unloads 95% of the preset gross weight. When the bulk weight limit is reached, the butterfly closes.
2. Fine dosage:
When the butterfly is closed, the central rotor begins to dose powder until the total weight of the product is obtained, with precision that varies from ± 20 gr to ± 100 gr according to the characteristics of the treated product. All this actuated by pneumatic actuator of 90º for the butterfly and 180º for the rotor. The fine dosing pockets of the rotor can be customized in number and volume according to customer requirements. The most common application is the continuous liner dosing system, conceived by CO.RA., which allows the discharge of product into a polyethylene liner as well as the filling of bags in a closed cycle, controlling the weight with great precision
The CO.RA. DOUBLE VALVE GASKET is a variant of the CO.RA DOUBLE VALVE and has a sealing gasket between the butterfly and the dosing rotor. This solution allows the valve to work in applications with pressures up to 0.5 bar and with less product leaks during the discharge cycle.
