DESCRIPTION
CIRCULAR PTFE FLANGE PROTECTOR WITH SIGHT GLASS – LEAK PREVENTION SHIELD KTN 13/RT
The Round PTFE Flange Protector with Sight Glass is designed to prevent accidents by temporarily containing hazardous leaks and spray-outs. Leaks may occur in piping systems carrying chemicals, high-temperature liquids, or steam, potentially harming workers, nearby equipment, and the environment.
Leaks of flammable products such as fuel or oil can cause fires and explosions. Safety Spray Shields help ensure compliance with regulations set by agencies such as OSHA, EPA, MSHA, SOLAS, ABS, and DNV, and are now required by certain insurance companies.
Manufactured from high-strength PTFE fabrics, this protector features a transparent sight glass for quick visual inspection of the flange connection. It also includes a pH indicator patch that provides immediate leak detection, turning red in contact with acids or green with alkalis. Our flange protectors are designed for easy and fast installation by a single person.

- The front sightglass is made of a transparent polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film.
- The splash guard at both ends is manufactured from Teflon-coated fabric for high temperatures.
- Connection by a durable PTFE cord.
- Made with imported braiding equipment using three-strand high-strength PTFE wire.
- An optional leak warning strip can be added.
- Operating temperature range: -35ºC to +230ºC.
- Strong resistance against acids, alkalis, and high temperatures.
- Available in various colors.
