Principle of operation

FLOW METER GLASS TUBE – TECFLUID 2000

The Series 2000 Tecfluid flow meters work according to the variable area principle, obtained by a float that moves inside a conical tube. borosilicate glass . The circulating flow moves to the float, up to a height inside the conical tube, where the forces are balanced: – E = fluid thrust – Pf = float weight – Al = free area of ​​passage (Al = Ac, area tube – Af, float area). Each float height or position corresponds to a value of the circulating flow.
