Knife gate valves

The knife gate or guillotine valves have a blade inside that is responsible for “cutting” the passage of fluid. This type of valve allows the passage of the fluid through its circular section, once it is determined that the fluid does not need to continue to pass, the blade slides downwards so that the flow is paralyzed. This type of valves are characterized by being able to be installed in any direction of the pipeline and by working at high pressures and with liquids containing a maximum of 5% solids in suspension.
