Principle of operation

Tecfluid PR flow meters work by variable differential pressure depending on the flow, obtained by means of a constant section diaphragm . A diaphragm mounted on a pipe through which a fluid circulates causes a differential pressure that varies quadratically as a function of flow . A small section circuit with a flow meter is connected to the differential pressure taps on the diaphragm. The pressure difference causes fluid circulation through this circuit , and the meter provides an indication of the flow rate of the main circuit.
