Description

TRAP FOR SATURATED OR SUPERHEATED STEAM AT LOW PRESSURE

Bucket trap toremove saturated or superheated steam condensate at low pressure. Applicable in: Steam pipes, heat exchangers, plants with automatic temperature control, chemical and petrochemical industry

  • It works by the action of an inverted bucket that is displaced by the difference in density between the condensate and the steam. In the presence of condensate, the bowl descends, releasing the seat shutter and allowing the condensate to drain. When steam enters, the bucket rises and blocks the passage, ensuring a line free of condensate. This action is repeated cyclically, automatically removing air and accumulated condensate.

  • Treated, ground, lapped and burnished closing surfaces, thus achieving a degree of tightness, even higher than that required by EN 12266-1.
  • All steam traps are rigorously tested and verified.
  • Each one of the components is numbered, registered and controlled. If previously requested, the trap will be accompanied by certifications of materials, castings, tests and performance.
