Principle of operation

TURBINE FLOW METER – TECFLUID TM

A helical rotor turns freely inside a cylindrical tube. The operating liquid pushes the rotor blades causing them to rotate at a speed proportional to the circulating flow. An externally mounted induction coil (pickup) captures the rotation of the propeller blades and generates an electrical signal that, processed by the different electronic systems, provides: – Instantaneous flow value – Total or partial volume – Digital and analog outputs ( mA, Hz and V)
