Description
TRAP FOR SATURATED OR SUPERHEATED STEAM MEDIUM/LOW PRESSURE – VYC
To extract saturated or superheated steam condensates at medium and low pressure.
Applicable in; steam pipes, ironing machines, laundries and dry cleaners, tanks and containers with condensate discharge, cooking pots, sterilizers, exchangers, multiple platen presses, vulcanization autoclaves, calenders, pressure reducing equipment, etc.
Mod.444 provided with a centering ring for placement between flanges according to EN, DIN, UNE, ANSI, BS, etc. standards. DN-15 to 25.
Principle of operation
The thermostatic action of the thermostatic trap of the pressure balanced element allows the condensate and the cold air to evacuate freely at the start running.
When the temperature of the condensate approaches saturation, the element closes and cuts off the passage of steam.
When the condensate cools, the element opens and evacuates it. Again and in the imminent presence of steam the cycle is repeated and the element closes. And so on
