Description
BUTTERFLY VALVE WITH GOOD ABRASION RESISTANCE – KITZ DJ SERIES
The KITZ DJ SERIES butterfly valve complies with the WRAS standard like all the materials of KITZ EPDM seats . The molded seat structure (bonded) is used for 2 ”to 12” . larger valves are provided with replaceable seat . This non-peel-off seat-to-body construction ensures maintenance-free service for applications with high fluid velocity , vacuum service. The rubber seats have a spherical design where they make contact with the upper and lower rods . This protects the extensively designed rubber seats against wear or deformation to extend the useful life of the valves . The finely shaped metal discs are the result of an elaborate laboratory study to ultimately minimize pressure loss . Any pneumatic or electric valve actuator provided with ISO 5211 valve mounting flanges can be easily mounted. The leak prevention of external fluid is maximized with a set of rubber O-ring. The index plate has 10 positions of lock as standard.
