Relief valves

Relief valves

The relief valves have the function of opening and releasing the pressure when a fluid exceeds the pre-established limit. Its purpose is to protect the system from a possible explosion due to the failure of a measuring instrument, such as a thermostat. They are of obligatory use in domestic, commercial or industrial installations in processes where the fluid is subjected to inadmissible pressures. The decompressions are released in visible spaces, on the outside or in tanks (if the fluid is harmful) with the aim of controlling the possible failures in the regulation.
