CONFIGURABLE BALL VALVE FOR INSTRUMENTATION – ITE BVSB

BVSB / 6000 PSI

Ball valves in AISI F316L stainless steel, 3 pieces with configurable ends, range from 10mm to 25mm, suitable for industrial instrumentation lines, used mainly with process fluids, steam to high pressure and temperature.

Produced and tested in Italy according to API, ANSI, ASME standards.

Body
AISI 316L stainless steel bodies with hole diameters from 10mm to 25mm and temperature rating from -50°C to 230°C. They offer excellent corrosion resistance, strength and durability for harsh environments. Its wide temperature range allows use in high-temperature and cryogenic processes, while the three-piece design facilitates maintenance.
Ball
The bi-directional floating ball design in AISI 316L stainless steel valves provides reliable leak-proof shut-off under pressure and vacuum, making it versatile for various industries. This design allows the ball to adjust slightly within the seat for a tight seal, enhancing sealing integrity and reducing wear. AISI 316L’s corrosion resistance ensures durability, while its bi-directional capability simplifies installation and operation. Additionally, this design enhances safety by preventing leaks in critical applications and typically requires lower torque for easier actuation.
PEEK seats
The PEEK seat is designed to withstand pressures up to 420 bar, offering high pressure and temperature resistance, excellent chemical compatibility and low coefficient of friction to improve sealing and reduce wear.
Non-expellable stem
The non-ejectable stem feature prevents the stem from being ejected under high pressure, reducing the risk of accidents and improving reliability and leak prevention. The corrosion resistance of AISI 316L ensures durability in harsh environments, while the design simplifies maintenance by minimizing stem-related failures. This makes the valve suitable for various applications, especially those involving high pressures or aggressive media.
Configurable ends
Flexible connection options for a 3-piece ball valve to ISO and ASME standards offer versatility and ease of installation for various piping systems. These connections improve leak prevention, accommodate thermal expansion to reduce stress on the system, and simplify maintenance by allowing easier valve replacement. Additionally, they improve flow characteristics by minimizing turbulence and offer customization to meet specific operational needs, ultimately improving valve functionality in various industrial applications.
Locking pin
A2 valve pins designed to stop movement offer numerous benefits, including excellent corrosion resistance and high tensile strength due to their stainless steel construction, ensuring durability and longevity even in harsh environments. They provide precise control over valve movement, maintaining system integrity while requiring minimal maintenance, reducing operating costs.
Certificate and test
Wetted parts according to NACE MR.0175/MR.0103 as standard. Shell and seat tightness tests are carried out. According to API 598 and ASME B16.34 (1.5 max. pressure rating).
Certificate Certificate 3.1 according to EN 10 204 in Valve body material.
