Description
GATE VALVE FOR HIGH-DEMAND INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS – KSB AKG-A/AKGS-A
Gate valve according to DIN/EN, available with flanges (AKG-A) or welding ends (AKGS-A). Equipped with autoclave cover, forged or welded body, and non-rotating stem. Movable wedge discs ensure a perfect fit to the seats, while seat/shutter contact surfaces in 17% chromium steel or stellite provide excellent wear and corrosion resistance.
Main applications: conventional power plants, process engineering, boiler feed and boiler recirculation.
Technical data: hydraulic system nominal pressure of PN 63, PN 100, and PN 160; maximum nominal diameter DN 300; and maximum allowable fluid temperature of 550°C.
