GALVANIZED STEEL FLANGE GUARD – LEAKAGE PROTECTION – KTN 13/GALV
Safety shields are designed to prevent a catastrophe by temporarily containing leaks and hazardous sprays. Leaks can occur in piping systems that transport chemicals, high-temperature liquids, and steam, which may harm workers, nearby equipment, and the environment.
Leaks of flammable products, such as fuel or oil, can cause fires and explosions. Safety Spray Shields help comply with regulatory standards established by agencies such as OSHA, EPA, MSHA, SOLAS, ABS, and DNV, and are now required by some insurance companies.
Manufactured with durable fabrics that contain a pH indicator patch that signals a leak by immediately changing color to red if acidic or to green if alkaline. Our safety shields are ready to be quickly and easily installed by one person.
